IMW Wellness Notes

This is something new I have decided to try. As I am always reading and doing further research to help you be the healthiest you can be, I thought perhaps I could share some of the reading. So below is just a peek of what I ave been reading with links if you want to read further.

Now just because I have read these articles does not necessarily mean I always agree, but it usually means that it has gotten me thinking some more, which at times can be fun.

" Ketogenic diets appear to be more effective than low-fat diets for treatment of obesity and diabetes. In addition to the reductions in blood glucose and insulin achievable through carbohydrate restriction, chronic ketosis might confer unique metabolic benefits of relevance to cancer, neurodegenerative conditions, and other diseases associated with insulin resistance. "

This article shows that sugar and fake fat such as soybean oil both have detrimental effects on your metabolism and weight.

I think 3 articles are enough for today.

I hope you enjoyed or at least opened your eyes that not everything you hear or read in the media or from the government gurus is correct when it comes to health and nutrition.
